Before we enter the serious and quickly approaching business of the game season, we wanted to bid the summer a fond farewell. A celebration of seafood, from succulent prawns to delicate Cromer crab meat we hope that our seafood supper menu will offer a wide range of flavours and textures to satisfy even the most discerning of palates.
Our love of curing and smoking the freshest of produce will be evident from the moment you enter the building. To tempt the tastebuds salt cod will have been turned into a smooth velouté and served up with freshly grated bottarga crostini. The smokehouse will be preparing single malt cured and cold smoked wild Scottish salmon, buttery and rich textures served up with refreshing soused cucumbers to compliment the individual terrines.
Classic sweet and tender Cromer crab meat is delicacy we love. Lightly flaked white meat is partnered up to a smooth crab mousse to really highlight how special this great British product is. Some crunch will be afforded the dish from a baked parmesan basket and fresh garden leaf salad.
These classic Kings Arms style dishes will then be followed by a more East meets West Prawn dish. A light palate refresher before the main event. Prawns 3 Ways. A crisp hot tempura tiger prawn, chilled succulent poached prawns wrapped in translucent rice paper with crisp herbs both served alongside a fragrant style prawn bisque dipping sauce.
To finish a more traditionally British offering. A poached cod supreme with a light chive sauce & crispy poached hen’s egg, peas crushed with new season baby new potatoes will provide the texture.
Whether you prefer a delicate and sweet flavour or a rich and indulgent taste we trust you can find a little something to satisfy your fishy cravings. To accompany the food there will also be a flight of wines designed to compliment and elevate your dining experience The supper night is on Friday September the 15th, bookings are being taken now. We look forward to welcoming you and your party on the evening.
